Lion and Unicorn to Auction Five Original Drawings from Miami Artist, Ana Garcia

On Wednesday, February 16, 2022, Lion and Unicorn Auction House (200 Oakwood Lane, Suite 200, Hollywood, FL 33020) will be proudly presenting five signed original drawings from local Floridian artist, Ana Garcia. Born and raised in Miami, Ana specializes in drawing and photography. Especially fond of photographing nature, Ana views it as a successful way to allow others to experience the beauty that surrounds us. She has been featured in numerous exhibitions and publications over the past 20 years, showcasing her talent and dedication in capturing the heart and soul of South Florida. Utilizing various art tools and a unique use of abstract lines, Ana created these drawings for a special purpose. Plagued with daily headaches for many years, Ana found that drawing was a therapeutic way to alleviate the pain, especially when done in her signature “scribble” style. “It is the energy and rhythm of the lines that help relieve the pain,” Ana explains in a description of her dual abstract drawing, Invisible Scribble. “The controlled system of mark-making contains my condition by turning an uncomfortable negative state into a creative positive one.” Bid online or in person for a chance to obtain any one of these one-of-a-kind drawings.
