I met Rochelle many years ago when I was in high school with her sister. I haven’t seen her in quite sometime and now she is all grown up and getting married.

Javier popped the question this past December and she said yes! They wanted to take engagement photos at the beach for sunset so it was perfect as I love the beach and sunset is one of my favorite times of the day.

They took a little stroll down the shoreline and chatted about their day.

When they came back towards me, they were all smiles as they were having a blast at this location. It was so pretty.

I brought a little starfish with me to take this ring shot. I might add that Javier did good with that ring. It is gorgeous!

(When I finished take photos of it, 2 young girls came up to me and said: “Ok, you’re done?” I replied with: “Oh, I brought this with me.” They thought it washed ashore and I was using it for photos so then they wanted a turn. I wouldn’t harm a live animal like that. No live shelling.)

Jake is super excited for his humans getting married. So much so, he couldn’t take his eyes off of them.

As the sun started to go down, they did a little dancing. I mean, wouldn’t you with that view?

They were all cute with each other towards the end.

Congratulations Rochelle and Javier! I had a lot of fun at your session. I can’t wait to see where your next adventure leads you to. Best wishes on your life together.

Think Tank Photo Laptop Messenger Bag

Here is a recommended bag by Think Tank Photo that I have used.

Last year I was on a search for a laptop bag. It needed to fit a 13.5″ computer along with it’s charging cable, pen and mouse.

I looked at all kinds of brands until I found Think Tank. They had (and still currently have) various colors and sizes.

After looking back and forth between them, I finally chose the Think Tank Retrospective Laptop Case 13L. The Think Tank Retrospective 30 was runner-up as it could carry a camera with a tablet.

The laptop case fits the computer perfectly with all the accessories. The material is treated to be weather-resistant and it includes a rain cover.

I have known Kirk since I was little. He is like my big brother. I saw him marry his beautiful best friend Mariela. I watched their boys grow up.

Yesterday I had the honor to take their family portraits. We checked the weather and thought it would be perfect as it was dropping to the high 60’s and not get any hotter than 75. However, Miami is one of the only places to have cool weather and rain all in one day. Rain in Miami is always off and on so we decided to endure it.

While everyone was climbing the steps with the umbrella, I snapped this photo of the youngest just hanging out. After I took it, he came over to see and smiled. His smile can make your heart throb.

We made the best of the morning with the rain.

These young men are just so cute.

I’m not sure what he was doing but he definitely caught his bro’s attention.

You can feel the strong brotherly love between them.

We stood in the rain to get this shot in this beautiful garden walkway.

All in all it was a fun morning with this loving family.
