Peak Design has just announced their 9th kickstarter campaign. They have been planning and working on this product for more than 4 years. This is a new category of camera gear for them as they make bags, straps, slings, and clips.

I am happy to help them announce the Peak Design Travel Tripod is now on pre-release on Kickstarter

August 2nd, 2019 Update: You can preorder the Travel Tripod on their website.

I have been a fan of Peak Design since I bought the Capture a few years back. Eventually I went on to purchase other products like the Everyday Sling, Everyday Backpack 20L, and Travelline Backpack + Pouches (Tech Pouch, Wash Pouch, Packing Cube, Camera Cube, Shoe Pouch, Rain Fly). When I heard they are making their 9th kickstarter campaign, I couldn’t wait to find out what it was. Some of my purchases have been from their kickstarter and I never had an issue with a pre-release of their products. They are outstanding. Learn more about my photography gear.

I am excited for this Tripod.

The travel tripod is quick to deploy, lightweight, and has a low-profile design. It is half the size of a traditional travel tripod, fairly close to the size of a water bottle. The campaign starts today May 21st at 7am PST and ends 60 days later on July 18th at 5pm PST.
