Andrea Acevedo, better known as Butterflymush in the art world, is an artist in New York. I met her when she was living in Miami when we were young and stayed connected through social media.

She recently wanted to help those that were affected by Hurricane Irma and the earthquakes in Mexico. She made a series of work about Latin women who worked hard towards their dream or goal and left a mark. She collected all the art and turned it into a book.

All the proceeds will help those people in Puerto Rico and Mexico.

When I heard that she was going to be selling the book and having the proceeds help all those in need, I couldn’t wait to purchase it.
